Last week on my etsy favourites post I mentioned there was something in  sadie olive that I really really wanted. Today reader Judith reminded me in a comment that I had not yet revealed what it was, and that although she wasn’t losing sleep over it still, she was curious. So, Judith, this post is for you! And for anyone else out there who was curious about my ‘must have’ item. It was in fact these sweet little antique s&p shakers – are they not the most darling things you have ever seen?

I just bought them. Because well, I think I will sleep a little better now that I know they will soon be mine.

You’re so funny! Thank you for revealing, Pia – I was waaaay off. The little shakers are so you, indeed adorable for brunch on le petit bateau. I was thinking maybe those pewterish looking servers from Italy – sinfully ornate, or the ancient Dr’s bag (a stylist’s carryall?). Anyway that was fun, I loved guessing! Bon weekend, I’m straying again…

A brilliant distraction thanks Pia. I’m procrastinating too about writing a blog post (writers block I think), and really want those rolling pins in sadie olive’s shop!!

Amanda – the rolling pins are awesome I agree – if you do your writing then maybe you can reward yourself with a little gift from sadie olive’s shop – sometimes self-bribery works for writer’s block! I do it often.:-)

judith b – I adore the servers too, and love your idea of the Dr’s bag being a stylist’s carryall, you may have just convinced me I need that too. I couldn’t stop thinking about the shakers and imagine using them for a future food shoot (this is the blight of being a stylist). Thanks for being such a lovely visitor.

Mary-Laure – thank you! Etsy gifts are the best, I hope you will show and tell some of the things you buy on your blog.

agneta – welcome! hope to see you again soon.
