…just passed by my window. I wonder what it’s about. And did someone lose it, or throw it in? It’s like a little boat. Carrying people in the contents of it’s pages.

A wild find, and one that speaks on s many levels.
You own the photo. It’s yours to use as you see best.
This is an important image.

Haha, I LOVE this photo! It’s not something you would think would be floating on the water. I am picturing the scene in Sex and the City where Charlotte throws the self-help book out of her window and it lands at the feet of a woman who needs it.

Fascinating sight; I like the idea of characters being carried within its pages, a la le bateau!

Wow how strange. What book was it? Nothing like a magical reminder that you live in a houseboat.

I really hope it’s a water-themed book. If it was Life of Pi, that’d be perfect.

wow i think i would ask myself the same question if a book were to float right by me… but then again i’m not sure if i’m ever around a relatively still body of water enough to witness this!

beautiful photo. I love it when something happens like this–you begin to imagine where the book came from, who owned it, and how it got into the water in the first place…
Charming post, as always. Have a beautiful weekend

The words are floating outside your window.
