At the first sign of Spring this year I planted a jasmine bush at the foot of the boat’s bridge so that each time I step out I get a lovely waft of jasmine to send me on my way, and the same when I return.
It enhances my every day.
Today, I picked a little flower and have it close by so I can smell sweet sweet jasmine as I write.
It’s sweet subtle scent takes me home.
lovely.

Hey Pia,
What a coincidence. I also planted a jasmine bush this Spring, for the same reason. Now, all I have to do is find a frangipani tree.

What a lovely idea. I wish I had a walk-up apartment so I could plant a lilac tree, for just the same reasons!

Oh how wonderful! Each year I tell myself that I’m going to buy a jasmine plant, and each year it seems to pass me by. You’ve inspired me to actually do it this summer. Gorgeous photo…so soft.

Sigh. I do exactly the same thing – I borrow a little stem & keep them in a little vintage bottle on my desk at work.

What about laying this jasmine flower over some vintage music paper? or some vintage ledger paper and antique handwriting? or some textured wallpaper?…i think u should try that and photograph it! It would be beautiful! XO
