what: bus stop. where: newport west, sydney.ย why: love the nature all around.
………………………………………
I thought I might start a new series of posts here in the (blog)house, an “in between posts” series where I just post a random photo taken wherever I might be, with a brief description. What do you think, shall we give it a whirl, see if we like this idea? Perhaps it will help make me feel a bit more settled in my old/new surroundings. px
I’d love it. Thanks for sharing.

Sounds good – it took me a couple of years to re-adjust, and even now, I catch myself being overly impressed with rainbow lorrikeets (they are so amazing; hiding so well in trees, yet with all those colours). I still have a thing for wattle, as well (have you seen cloth fabric’s print?).
It is odd how strange home can feel.

Miss Heliotrope – do you mean this one?http://www.clothfabric.com/2009/12/wattle/ gorgeous. Thanks for reminding me about cloth fabric. It’s going to be fun discovering & rediscovering sydney, I can’t wait to settle and get out on the street in search of the unique. The colours of the lorikeets are mesmerizing, except when they pee on you (which happened to me just the other day).
shipbuilding, claudia, karen – I’m glad you’re into this idea, thanks for the sweet comments!
