…a little gift for a faraway friend which sits on my dining table. Wrapped in some lovely paper I bought in Amsterdam many moons ago, a little butterfly tag from Royal Buffet, some Japanese tape given to me from a friend who just came back from Japan, and a strip of velvet ribbon I bought at the Noordermarkt (remember the ribbon girls?).
I’m sleepy. It’s bed time. I’m hoping for sweet dreams tonight.
Bonne nuit!
What a gorgeously wrapped gift no matter what it is! I’m sure your friend will LOVE it!!!

A beautiful wrapping job, that’s for sure. Wrapping might be my favorite part of gift-giving.

Sometimes the wrapping is just as much fun as the giving. This is gorgeous.

This is simply perfect. I adore butterflies and beautiful gift wrap both. I would be thrilled to receive such a package. P.S. I bought Paris: Made by Hand the other day, and I am loving it! Beautiful photos and lovely prose.
