I have been a reader of your blog for a long time now so i thought it was about time to write som words! Want to say thank you for all the wonderful inspiration you give through pictures and words, it is always a highlight for me to visit your blog :o)
I always sit down with a cup of tea (or two) with the mobile turned of and enjoy your posts….
I tried your risottorecipe last week, it tasted so good! I served some white-vine and salad together with it, mmmmmmmm.
CONGRATULATIONS with your book! I have ordered it so i hope it comes in a couple of days now, i am looking forward to sit down in my cosychair with it and a big cup of tea and dream away :o)
I live in Norway and feel that the interiorstyle is very narrow here, you can see almost the same style everywhere. Maybe it’s because the country is so small i don’t now or maybe it has something to do with the culture…
What a GREAT sign! Husband and I are always in search of wonderful vintage signs to photograph on our roadtrips…It’s bittersweet because they vanish so quickly. Between one year’s roadtrip and the next, some of our favorites always disappear. I am still mourning the day that the old Tuba City Truckstop sign came down.
Dear Pia,
Does this mean you are in Paris this week pour le week-end de l’Ascension? I am hooked on your blog as well and would love to find your book here in the City of Lights where I live: Amazon seems to believe you are not published yet (!) but perhaps Smith’s or Gagliano’s has a few???
Good luck to you in your ongoing search of beauty…it’s a beautiful day for sign hunting!
Judith
PS I am sad that you have found no artisans in my arrondissement, the 13th!
So fabulous! Especially with some gauzy cotton or linen curtains filtering the window light …

The sign makes me dream of the toys store that it is or was representing.
