i love this vintage illustration of rye and oats, from etsy boutique shaving kits’ vintage paper.
while I continue my mission to find some rye stalks, I’d like to tell you about a few things going on around the (blog)house…

First of all, lovey stacy from la boudoir asked if I’d like to write a ‘do or die list’ for her new series. she made a beautiful montage of my photographs for my ‘do or die’ list, please check out the full post here! It was so nice to see her find all these photos from my blog, reminded me of some of my old posts from last year. thank you stacy!!

Secondly, I have a facebook fan page! So, if you are a fan, and if you are on facebook, please come join us right here. I write about stuff I’m up to during the day that I don’t write about on the blog, so you’ll get a good dose of what’s going on in my life (if you are interested!)
…………………………………………………….
and thirdly, what happened to my nesting series, you might ask? I’ve had to put it on hold for the moment – sometimes i’m good at juggling my work and my blog, and other times i’m not… this is one of those times! I’ll get back to it, don’t you worry.
…………………………………………………….
that’s all really. i just thought i’d update y’all.
xx
PS foux da fafa.
how hilarious are the flight of the concords? i didn’t know about them until i was perusing my blogroll over the weekend and stumbled upon this song but now i can’t remember where i saw it – if you know where i saw this, can you please let me know in a comment below! merci!
also, how come as an aussie i don’t know about this duo? is it that whole aussie/nz/tall poppy syndrome thang? if so, that’s ridiculous and our ‘slash the kiwis’ antics has gone too far! or perhaps i’m the only aussie who doesn’t know about them. that is highly possible.

I just spent the weekend reading Paris guidebooks, so this foux da fafa clip was very timely indeed! Oh, it made me laugh out loud!
P.S. I just became a Facebook fan!

oh he loves it! he laughs so loud, he thinks it’s great! when i showed him on sunday we sat for another hour looking at their other songs on youtube.
when we are both here on the boat doing work, i press ‘play’ when he least expects it, we both crack up. it’s hours of fun!!
xx
PS Melissa – yay! thanks for becoming a fan 🙂

Thanks so much! I loved checking out all the old photos. I forgot how many awesome pictures you have on your blog. I spent about three hours last night looking through them. And went to bed dreaming of inspiration boards ideas.
