…while it’s business as usual for some creatures here on the canal, I am tucked up in bed inside le petit bateau, hot totty and piles of tissues by my side. The view outside my window has been a wonderful source of entertainment on this very chilly morning.

the chilly wind beyond le petite bateau i want it desperately…
we are – in Melbourne town – experiencing a heatwave beyond belief….oah to hibernate under ones blanket!!(minus the flu, woo never fun Pia!) 45 degrees C for 3 days and 37 degrees C tomorrow….
anyhow keep talking of the frosty-ness for me and get better soon!!

cricket – no way! If its 45C in Melbourne the rest of oz must be melting away! Looks like we missed the heatwave and I must say, I’m not too disappointed – when it’s over 36C for me, it’s pretty unbearable so you have my sympathies. More frosty images coming your way!

Liberty – yes indeedy, it does help. although i wonder how they survive, i can’t help but worry for them! but i know they always make it through every winter.
