boy oh boy does time fly ’round these sunny parts! our four weeks of sydney living are coming to an end and I am a busy bee collecting things from home to take home. and these little beauties will no doubt find their way into petits nooks & crannies in my suitcase.
xx
PS I’ve been so creative while here, I have bundles and bundles of things to share with you! are you sick of me telling you that yet?
PPS I feel like doodling all over these pretty shells – I can see a whole world in there, but I shall have to wait until I get back to my pen tablet. what do these shells inspire in you?
What a gorgeous photo! When I look at it I get a feeling of freedom, wet sand between my toes, running on the beach with my arms wide open, enjoying life…..

Ohhhhh…I love the shells on the blue, the way it brings out the lavender and cornflower shades in the luminescent insides.
This inspires me to do a “blue and lavender” color scheme one month on my blog. Next month is already spoken for, so maybe March…

This photograph makes me so homesick I could just weep… but in a good way. Your dreamy, soulful images seem to have that effect on me. 😉 I can’t wait to see what you have in store for us when you return home! Safe travels!

Thanks Shannon + Maryam, I must get cracking on all these ideas!
Oh Sara LeeAnn, I do not want to make you weep! I’m so sorry to have made you feel homesick, it can be so painful. If it’s any consolation I am feeling it already.
Thanks Emily, i enjoyed the sun immensely and have a golden tan to hold onto for a few days yet.
Jess – it is indeed a scan! Although not so clever – I just scattered the shells and sand directly on the scanner to see what would happen.
Maia, I love your idea, I shall keep my eyes open for this colour theme on your blog in March!
Thank you Aran!
Irene, your description is beautiful, thank you.
