Overindulgence, do you think? Perhaps. Especially since French Boy and I dug into the left over cheeses the next morning, with a baguette and some homemade apricot jam. Please note: we did not devour all of it on our own. If so I’m not sure I’d be alive to tell you so today.

In other news, I have decided this week is a special week. In what way, do you wonder?
It has been one year since I moved to Amsterdam!
So to celebrate, this week here in the (blog)house will be all about Amsterdam – where to find the best breakfast, where I shop for props, my favourite wanders, and best of all plenty of photos. It will be my personal guide and experiences of this city that I never imagined I would one day call home. I do hope you will enjoy this special little tour…

I usually dread mornings after especially if I went to bed without cleaning up but this one is so beautiful. I was planning a trip to Amsterdam sometime in December, if you know of any nice places to stay could you please recommend some? That’ll be very much appreciated.

Me too with my french boy indulged ourselves to a lot of cheese and baguette this weekend. I’m not suppose to eat or drink anything with cow milk so I made a splurge on goat milk cheeses 🙂 uuhhmm ….

Hi Lemelimelodeval – you are exactly right, they are pierre marcolini chocolates from Brussels! Our friends brought them for us as a gift, they are rather divine.
Nadia – it is wallpaper – a very new addition to the boat! I really like it – it’s blue and gold, but I love it in that photo as black and white. I’ll have pictures of all my changes in the boat soon.
