i’m thinking polaroid and me, were never meant to be…

I’ve been so inspired by fellow bloggers fabulous polaroids these past few months that I decided to give it a whirl myself…

…and this is pretty much the best result I’ve had out of 10. I mean, it is interesting, right? (!!) Abstract art even?

It really makes me appreciate how wonderfully talented these polaroiders are. How do they do it? I have no idea. But I do think polaroid and me, were just never meant to be.

    it’s not you.. it’s me. um, i mean it’s probably your film. check the expiration date or it may have been damaged b/c it was stored somewhere that was too hot or something.

    yeah, i have tried to do some polaroids with their inspiration as well and though mine do not turn out as abstract they definitely are nto as lovely as the people inspiring me, what are their tricks?

    joetta – i have NO idea. no idea. I am baffled. It’s all a mystery.

    tara – thank you! but i am rather impatient. i’ve already had it checked once, and I haven’t got the time or patience to keep trying out new film and new methods. It seems so wasteful. it is just so heartbreaking when they keep coming out wrong. i just don’t know how all you polaroiders cope with the heartbreak! but maybe you just don’t have the problems i have 🙁

    I see japanese style mountains in the background – and on the right hand side, and a lake, and a sunset (pink and violet looming in the horizon) and a dragon taking a dip on the bottom (right hand side), and a big rock or its reflection on the water and… and…

    itsane is right, you have to read this like those ink blotches psychiatrists use. (or have used)

    I see an ocean of caramel, I see a sea of crème brulée. Now you know what’s on my mind at all time : )
