lg-profile.jpg

it’s a little late, but it’s for all the mothers out there.
This photograph is from a series I took a few years ago, with my trusty Canon AE-1. And looking at this image I realise, I am missing film, just a little bit.

3:18pm: It’s afternoon tea time for me. And I’ve decided, while sipping my tea, that this image goes with this song. They both make me feel happy.

3:19pm: Tea time’s over 🙁

Hi Pia, Just wanted to say THANK YOU for all your amazing Amsterdam tips. We had such an amazing trip there…how lucky are you to live in this beautiful city?!!!? We followed the walks that you had posted, went to Puccini’s, checked out Droog and much more. Your before/after pictures of your Paris place are beautiful. I’ll be looking forward to seeing pictures of your Amsterdam place sometime too! Oh, and I just noticed that you added me to your blogroll…I am seriously flattered! I will add you too 🙂

4:46pm: second afternoon tea time says I…thank you Esti, I have a feeling you and I often fly holding the same ballon. Your posts are always deeply touching.

Jill, I’m super thrilled you fell love with this city, I do feel very lucky, there is not a day that I don’t wake up thinking ‘wow’. And never in my wildest dreams did I imagine I would be here! You are very welcome.

Alyson, I am a Canon girl through and through. I have only ever used Canon ever since I started shooting as a teenager. I’ve tried others but they never feel right. So, I will be biased to tell you Canon is the best!

Pia, I love your blog I feel stupid for saying it over and over but I do. So much inspiration and helpful travel tips. I poured over your Africa section and I was enchanted. Thanks for the lovely picture for Mother’s Day, I hope you and your Mom had a good one.

It’s my tea time break now 🙂 and cinnamon rolls are baking in the oven (don’t think they are going to be good ‘thou, it’s my first time doing them, but at least the house is now in a cinnamon mood 🙂

thank you yoli! you are always welcome to the (blog)house with your beautiful comments – they put a smile on my face every time i see you’ve stopped by.

sofia, emiliana is awesome! glad you now know of her. I can smell the cinnamon rolls from here, miammmmmmmm.

julie, yes! get it out and shoot away, i’d love to see some of your shots. I don’t have my AE-1 here with me, if I did I would certainly be picking it up again.

    xx
