She&#8217;s one of the young and talented food stylists <a href=\"http:\/\/archives.piajanebijkerk.com\/WordPress\/2008\/06\/17\/welcome-to-the-bloghouse-little-miss-sweet-tooth\/\" target=\"_blank\">I&#8217;ve featured here<\/a> in the <a href=\"http:\/\/archives.piajanebijkerk.com\/WordPress\/kitchen\/\" target=\"_blank\">(blog)house kitchen<\/a> many moons ago. I met Rachel in Paris in 2008 when she was studying at Le Cordon Bleu. Back then she was flitting around Paris as a food stylist for the likes of Elle \u00c3\u00a0 table and Galeries Lafayette,\u00c2\u00a0 creating fun workshops in the gorgeous little bookstore <a href=\"http:\/\/www.lacocotte.net\/\" target=\"_blank\">La Cocotte<\/a>, and regularly cooking up a storm of new recipes.<\/p>\n<p>Today, I am very happy to hear she&#8217;s coming to Sydney this March to host one of her\u00c2\u00a0 fabulous &#8220;underground&#8221; culinary evenings with her food + design writing friend <a href=\"http:\/\/francescaunsworth.wordpress.com\/about\/\" target=\"_blank\">Frankie<\/a>&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-8094\" title=\"sydney_flyer_1\" src=\"http:\/\/archives.piajanebijkerk.com\/WordPress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/01\/sydney_flyer_1.jpg\" alt=\"sydney_flyer_1\" width=\"500\" height=\"504\" srcset=\"https:\/\/archives.piajanebijkerk.com\/WordPress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/01\/sydney_flyer_1.jpg 500w, https:\/\/archives.piajanebijkerk.com\/WordPress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/01\/sydney_flyer_1-87x87.jpg 87w, https:\/\/archives.piajanebijkerk.com\/WordPress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/01\/sydney_flyer_1-297x300.jpg 297w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 500px) 100vw, 500px\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">From penal colony to gold rush eldorado, to sun and surf mecca, British gals Rachel and Frankie interpret the tastes and influences of past and present Australia over a six course dining experience.\u00c2\u00a0 Rachel has been hosting a few of these underground dinners in London and Berlin over the past year with great success, and she&#8217;s super excited to be coming to Australia.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.rachelkhoo.com\/current-events\/\" target=\"_blank\">The edible immigration tales<\/a> will be told for 3 nights only (Friday 12th, Saturday 13th and Sunday 14th March) in a secret Eastern Suburbs Sydney location.
