The story called <em>Goud in de mond<\/em> (gold in the mouth\/waking up full of energy), is a series of images + recipes using bread, grains and pulses. Yvette&#8217;s yummo recipes featured are irish sodabread, homemade granola, little nut and raisin loaves (seen above), focaccia and an <a href=\"http:\/\/www.mariamagazine.nl\/page\/genieten\/565\/Culirecept%20voor%20verrukkelijke%20salade\"target=\"_blank\">oat, farro, pumpkin and mushroom salad<\/a> (a personal favourite  &#8211; it was delish!). <\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/archives.piajanebijkerk.com\/WordPress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2008\/11\/jvds_bread_maria5.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/archives.piajanebijkerk.com\/WordPress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2008\/11\/jvds_bread_maria5.jpg\" alt=\"\" title=\"jvds_bread_maria5\" width=\"500\" height=\"620\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-2225\" srcset=\"https:\/\/archives.piajanebijkerk.com\/WordPress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2008\/11\/jvds_bread_maria5.jpg 500w, https:\/\/archives.piajanebijkerk.com\/WordPress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2008\/11\/jvds_bread_maria5-241x300.jpg 241w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 500px) 100vw, 500px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>I had fun making a small tiled wall from gorgeous red tiles that I picked out specially for the shoot. The tiles are handmade in portugal and have such a vibrant and deep colour. We were there to photograph the loaf stacks (seen below), and it was awesome being right in the heart of this bustling bakery while all the bakers shuffled around us &#8211; mixing dough, sliding trays of sweet smelling <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Speculaas\"target=\"_blank\">speculaas<\/a> across the shelves, and pulling out golden loaves from the huge ovens. <\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/archives.piajanebijkerk.com\/WordPress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2008\/11\/jvds_bread_maria4.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/archives.piajanebijkerk.com\/WordPress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2008\/11\/jvds_bread_maria4.jpg\" alt=\"\" title=\"jvds_bread_maria4\" width=\"500\" height=\"611\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-2223\" srcset=\"https:\/\/archives.piajanebijkerk.com\/WordPress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2008\/11\/jvds_bread_maria4.jpg 500w, https:\/\/archives.piajanebijkerk.com\/WordPress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2008\/11\/jvds_bread_maria4-245x300.jpg 245w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 500px) 100vw, 500px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>After shooting this story, it&#8217;s officially confirmed:<br \/>\nI.<br \/>\nLove.<br \/>\nBread. <\/p>\n<p>(Perhaps I am a little bit Dutch after all). <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I&#8217;m super pleased to be able to share with you another collaboration between myself (as stylist), recipe writer + food stylist Yvette van Boven, and photographer Jeroen van der Spek for the second issue of Maria magazine, on all good Dutch newsstands right now.
