With only one makeover about 7 or so years ago. And in a few days, it will be no longer as my new website is almost ready. We have just a few more things to do and I&#8217;m hoping that by mid-week it will be able to\u00c2\u00a0go live. So although all the posts on this blog will be transferred to the new site and I&#8217;ll be continuing to write in the new space, technically this post will be the very last one on this blog, as you see it now. It&#8217;s the end of an era. A part of me that is ready to shed, shift and transform. I&#8217;m ready to open the\u00c2\u00a0door.<\/p>\n<p>So for the next few days, I hope you can take a moment or two to peruse this old blog, read back on some of the archived posts from when I lived on <a href=\"http:\/\/archives.piajanebijkerk.com\/WordPress\/2009\/05\/16\/whats-life-like-on-a-houseboat\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">the houseboat<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/archives.piajanebijkerk.com\/WordPress\/2010\/06\/25\/summertime-in-amsterdam\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">rode my bike<\/a> around Amsterdam, <a href=\"http:\/\/archives.piajanebijkerk.com\/WordPress\/2012\/04\/06\/still-a-gatherers-field-guide\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">shared beautiful<\/a> <a href=\"http:\/\/archives.piajanebijkerk.com\/WordPress\/2011\/03\/03\/photographer-jen-causeys-the-makers-project\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">work by<\/a> <a href=\"http:\/\/archives.piajanebijkerk.com\/WordPress\/2009\/07\/27\/colour-palette-inspiration-shades-of-plum-and-amber\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">beautiful people<\/a>, made <a href=\"http:\/\/archives.piajanebijkerk.com\/WordPress\/2008\/08\/01\/paris-soundscape-time\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">soundscapes in Paris<\/a>, travelled to some <a href=\"http:\/\/archives.piajanebijkerk.com\/WordPress\/2009\/10\/16\/2-the-scenery-food-quiet-moments-on-the-land\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">beautiful places in France<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/archives.piajanebijkerk.com\/WordPress\/2011\/10\/08\/as-the-sun-sets\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">became\u00c2\u00a0pregnant<\/a>, shared <a href=\"http:\/\/archives.piajanebijkerk.com\/WordPress\/2014\/02\/12\/and-so-i-play\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">my music<\/a>&#8230; there are many memories, and I&#8217;m incredibly thankful to those of you who have joined me along the way and shared the ride.<\/p>\n<p>There will be lots of new inspiration in the new space, and a few special items I&#8217;m so looking forward to sharing.
