I’ve been surrounded by boxes for days, knee deep in cardboard and packing paper. I’ve begun wearing gloves while I open and unwrap each item as I’ve been getting some seriously nasty paper cuts. But still, I am inspired.
All this unwrapping and flattening boxes has given me some wonderful ideas for upcoming book launch events. Lots and lots of ideas. Also, I’m very glad that my beautiful oak table from Paris passed quarantine…
Phew!
Moving, moving, moving! Sounds exhausting! But I love finding inspiration in those unexpected ways. 🙂 I hope we are able to see what these ideas are sometime!

I’m sure they had a ball reading your books Miss Heliotrope! I’m glad they didn’t go for my books, because there were more than 20 boxes of them, it would have taken them half a year to read them all. 🙂

So glad the table and everything else arrived safely. I had quite a few papercuts too – wish I’d thought about wearing gloves (but wouldn’t have been able to find them, anyway). Hope you and R are settling in and enjoying making the new place yours. Very excited to read your book soon! You’ll be happy to know I now have my temp residency permit sorted, along w/ permission to work. So now I’m semi-Dutch, at least. 🙂 Meanwhile, still wading through French bureaucracy to get my money back from the movers’ damages, breakage and loss of my belongings. xo

wow just found your blog how gorgeous!! I know the feeling about quarantine all my xmas decorations had to get sprayed I had to pay to save them from being burnt as some were home made from when my children were at nursery & pre school didnt want to loose those little treasures!!, good luck with the book launch how exciting I used to live in Brisbane, shame I’m still not there would have come along, happy easter 🙂
