I took a walk downtown this morning with a young man I know from the restaurant. He lives in an area where people have barely enough to bring home some food each night, but were moms and grandmas make sure their little and not so little ones get an education, both at school and at home.
We delivered hot meals and canned good to them all morning as part of our local “meals on wheels”. It’s my way to participate I guess.
