Have a wonderful, wonderful thanksgiving you darling Canadians. I am with you in spirit.

xx

…………………………………..

PS You may notice a piece of pumpkin pie just disappear with no possible explanation. I will confess now, it was me.

PPS check out this line up of pies featuring the one above over at Liberty Post’s, which she found over at the delectable Gourmet. Bliss. Heaven on a plate. Delicious. Mine.

PPPS yes I am fully aware that there is alot more to Thanksgiving than pumpkin pie. But really, is there though?

Thanks, Pia! It’s true – most people don’t even know it’s a holiday here! Stunning pic, by the way. My pumpkin came in bar form – Adam made pumpkin pie bars which were heavenly. 🙂

Oh my gosh! Thanks for the reminder. I need to email/phone my sister-in-law immediately!! She has lived in the states since forever but still retains her Canadian citizenship. And I know she will be celebrating Thanksgiving today.

Yum! I confess to never yet baking a pumpkin pie. I should get my Canadian Mother-in law to teach me – her recipe is to die for.

Thanks for the nod towards our Thanksgiving! I ADORE pumpkin pie and certainly had my fill for you and I both!
It was a beautiful w/e at the cabin with friends and family. The sun was warm, the fall colours breathtaking, and so was the water as I went for one last dip on Oct 12th! It wasn’t freezing, but it was cold and refreshing!

Wow, what a fantastic site, you are also from Holland like me.
The pumpkin pie is not verry common in Holland. I looked for pictures to make the object in 3D. bey maria
