Today I’ve been handwriting some quotes and French words for Little Treasures: Made by Hand in my diary, using pen, ink, and pencil. I’m about to scan them and insert them into some of the pages of the book. We are in the final stages of design, with text edits almost finished. I’ve written an update on the campaign page, click here to read all the details.

It’s been a fabulous start to the campaign so far, in just a week we are 18% closer to reaching the target. There is still a long way to go though.

Is there anything in particular you’d like to know about the book? Anything you’d like me to share? If so, comment on this post and I’ll answer your queries as they come in.

xx

I can’t wait to have a copy in my hot litle hands. The process of creating a book just thrills me. I hold a gentle dream to one day write my own. It’s a floaty idea with no subject nor ideas of how to pull it down from the clouds into reality but something I treasure. Maybe one day! I adore all the little snippets of how a book comes into being so anything you share about that is certainly lapped up here. Wishing you beautiful days 🙂 x

    Hi Pia,
it is killing me that i can’t buy one of the home styling sessions from you. killing me. oh, if i only lived in sunny sydney. I have an idea though. Lots of us are interested in self publishing, and you are, once again, just ahead of the trend. How about packaging and offering your “lessons learned” with an hour of skype Q & A, with you and Vivien, and Amanda?
I know I would be interested!
kudos to you on this new endeavor,
    Mary Jo

Ooo, I would definitely be interested in reading/listening to an interview about your experiences in self-publishing. I’ve had a few ideas percolating in my head, and I’d love to learn a bit of the behind the scenes of self-publishing.

Pia, You are an inspiration! I couldn’t put “My Heart Wanders” down once I started reading it. And the design and photographs are stunning. I’m a graphic designer and I can appreciate all the heart and soul that you’re putting into your books. Thank you for sharing your life and talent. I can’t wait until this book is released.

Question about postage…I just tried to add the shipping onto my pledge (per your instructions from an email I received) and I wasn’t able to EDIT my pledge. The only option I had was to CANCEL. And I definitely don’t want to do that! Please advise.

    Take good care, Jane

Back again! I’ve been pondering this thought for the last few days. I would so dearly love to be a part of one of your pottering and styling days but having trouble locking in four other friends…do you know if there are other lovelies out their that would be interested in joining up together? I am in Brisbane but would be happy to fly to either Sydney or Melbourne. Hope all is calm and lovely in your world x

Hi Jane, thanks so much! We are aware of the problem – Pozible (annoyingly) did a major upgrade and they haven’t put that edit button back in. Don’t worry about it at this stage but we’ll let you know when it’s ready for you to adapt at the end! Sorry for the confusion.

Such an inspiration to us crafts-people. Have you had any training in caligraphy or something similar?
