I took these photos just for you today. I hope you like them. My subjects may be dried up but they are still very beautiful, non? They also look pretty in a row…

There’s something so tragic and romantic about dying or dried flowers. I tend to keep crispy flowers in my bud vases a tad too long, and my guy will be like, “That’s a bit sad, isn’t it?”

You do flowers “in the twilight of their life” like no one else. I love these photos especially.
As we have just returned from our mid-week “weekend” in Vail, we are just returning to the grind…sigh.
    Wishing you a lovely weekend!

These are lovely. I just bought your book (after returning from Paris!) so perhaps I’ll wander next time. I’m enjoying looking at it though!

I know, time goes fast…there is something about dried flowers, they are still nice in their shapes and all wrinkled up…I have an Allium blossom, drying slowly it’s so beautiful!

I’ve heard it’s supposed to be very bad feng shui to have dead flowers around the house, but I sure think they can be beautiful. So forget about the feng shui, let’s enjoy the fading beauty. Very pretty photo’s.

I love them! You’re great at giving dead flowers a new life, I like that – it’s sort of hopeful… The first one in particular is absolutely gorgeous!
    Have a lovely weekend Pia.

Ps. I’ve got a giveaway of SIXX Design’s book “Downtown Chic” over at my blog. I don’t normally promote my blog in other people’s “homes”, but I’d like to give as many lovely people as possible the chance to enter – including you. (just remove this comment if you find it a bit spam-ish)

I too am a fan of flowers in the twilight of their lives… Your pictures are gems. I get a kick out of “french boy”. I call my husband brat boy. Just wanted to let you know how much I have been enjoying your blog. I look forward to obtaining your book as Paris is a favorite place and dear to my heart. Continue your dreams…

Just great pictures. Very cool perspective, and so crisp. I like the darkness too. They’re just great.
