It’s been raining for 5 days straight now. I did venture out today, and came home completely soaked to the bone. It appears winter has come early. Meanwhile, one friend just wrote to tell me she is in Bali, another told me he has just returned from the Maldives, and my Sydney friends keep telling me how goddamn hot it is at the moment. Northern Europe, what are you doing to me?

……………………………………

PS I have been nesting, big time. And am hoping to have a finished result to shoot before all the leaves fall off the trees, and all the sun rays turn to ice. So hopefully some sneak peeks of all the new changes in le petit bateau will be ready for your viewing pleasure in the not too distant future!

PPS I’ve always loved this song.

PPS something fun for you tomorrow! xx

PPPS how are you? what’s happening? how is your morning/afternoon /evening cuppa?

It’s been raining here for too long too! We had about a week of glorious autumnal cool sunshine, but now it’s disappeared and winter is here! Boo!

It’s been raining in New York too – it just cleared up today and THANK GOD because I was going nutsy fagen.

Right now I’m drinking coffee and watching Sarah Palin playing the flute in the 1984 Miss America pageant. It is more than a little excruciating.

Looking forward to seeing the outcome of all your nesting!

you are right, it’s best to stay home. And now I’m not going to arrange things when I say that even in Paris it was a most-of-the-time-sunny-day 🙂 but it’s cold !
I’ve been working a lot today, a whole new series for my Etsy shop coming soon ! j’adore l’ambiance de la photo.

Sorry to disappoint the northern hemisphere but “acá abajo” (“down under” in spanish) the weather is getting better. But it has rained the whole week, so I sympathize with you. 🙂

My tea today was inti-zen´s tea with honey, cocoa and vanilla. Yumm.

Here are some sun rays for all of you!

Your piano nook looks so warm, cozy and inviting. I should like to sit down with a cup of tea and just listen. Today is a beautiful fall day in my part of the world but I have been stuck inside the past few days with the flu!

I’d be happy to take some of that rain for you! We need badly over here. My tomatoes are on their last leg and could use some rain! Love that picture!

Honestly I “pray” for rain. Its been over 100 degrees the last two days in LA. Its so dry, forest fires now. Wake every morning, so puffy and thirsty. I suppose thats what happens when you basically live in a desert. Drinking lots of Nettle tea (trying something new) but think I’ll be back to a Black Eye with two shots of espresso tomorrow!

Dear Pia if it makes you feel any better it is raining here too. I love the rain but not the relentless cloud and cold that accompanies it here. I really can’t handle cold. Not the best for a skating instructor I know but I love my job. I will hope for sunny skies for you.

It is fresh, crisp and wintery here in Oxford, UK. I just cycled through the town all muffled up in scarf and gloves.

I like that song, I hadn’t heard it before 🙂

Good morning, Sweet Pia! We truly had our rainstorms (I live close to the Windy City-ChiTown) in the past 2 weeks…felt like we had to build an Ark soon…but alas, this week seems very ‘Fallish’-cool 50-60’s yet sunny days…great sweater, boots & hat days.

What an inspiring corner of your home…warm piano tunes under soft glows of twinkling lights…ahhh, how peaceful + relaxing…wish I could just pull up a warm cup of tea, soft pjs and drift away in your music…ps. cool tunes/video pps. thanks for the ‘autumn swap’ info…thinking of joining in on the fun! xo jo 😉
